Katty Woollard

I was born and raised in Lima, Peru. I moved to the States at age 22 and enrolled at Frank Phillips College in Borger. Prior to my move, I took a few semesters of marketing and real estate and utilize that knowledge and my love of marketing in my real estate career. I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from WTAMU and currently practice as an RN managing an Assisted Living Facility for the last 10 years as well as working in Hospice for the past 20 years. I have traveled all around the Panhandle for many years in my role as a hospice nurse and have gained familiarity with the entire region.

My career as a nurse and manager have common features with real estate. Both industries require "advocacy and honesty" with my clients. I do not take these commitments lightly. They are commitments not only to my clients, but to myself.

I have experience working both sides of the transaction with buyers and sellers in real estate. I enjoy listing houses and showcasing the best that the properties have to offer by ensuring that my listing information is everywhere it needs to be as to not be missed by a potential buyer. I also love the feeling of walking buyers through a house and seeing them fall in love with it. I have experience with lots, short sales, foreclosures, and commercial properties, but residential properties are my favorite.

Spanish is my first language and helps me reach out to the Hispanic community of the Texas Panhandle. Through my years of real estate experience and being part of the Wheeler Chamber of Commerce, I have gathered a large number of resources to help you with this process. From financing to inspections, relationships with contractors and other professionals, I can make the process go easier.

Although I was not born and raised in Texas, The Panhandle is my home and I consider myself a part of the Wheeler Community. My husband, my two boys and I live in Wheeler with our three pets: a cat, a gecko, and a rat. We love to go fishing and travel. My kids and I have been to seven countries so far besides the US. We always look forward to new adventures but love coming back to the beautiful Texas skies.
